With the start of 32 new apprentices and dual-study students, GROUP7 once again demonstrates its strong commitment to developing young talent. Particularly pleasing is the fact that all available apprenticeship positions were filled. By doing so, the owner-managed logistics company continues to invest in the specialists and leaders of tomorrow.
While GROUP7 is headquartered in Schwaig near Munich, apprenticeship training is provided at a total of nine locations across Germany: Düsseldorf, Neuss, Hamburg, Bremen, Hanover, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Schwaig/Munich. As a family-owned company, GROUP7 has pursued a long-term people strategy for many years, with a strong focus on developing its own future specialists and managers.

One of the most sought-after career paths is the apprenticeship programme for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Specialists. Apprentices organise transport operations, coordinate international supply chains and communicate daily with customers and business partners around the globe. It is not without reason that the profession is often described as a “travel agency for goods”.
In addition to this apprenticeship programme, GROUP7 offers training in Warehouse Logistics, Office Management, System Integration and Application Development, as well as dual-study programmes, creating diverse career opportunities across the GROUP7 Group.
Taking Responsibility and Shaping the Future
In addition to professional training, GROUP7 encourages its young talents to contribute their own ideas. Through the GROUP7 Apprentice Environmental Team, apprentices independently select and implement sustainability projects. One ex the beehives at the Schwaig site, where thriving bee colonies now produce GROUP7 honey.
To mark the start of their training, the new young talents came together at a cross-location onboarding event, where they had the opportunity to meet and network with fellow apprentices from across Germany.
